Paul began his love of being on the water in his mother’s third trimester while she was fishing, another of his favorite pastimes. Birding became Paul’s main hobby when he was introduced to birds by his father and a school friend when he was 12.

Paul loves to travel to see birds, and was one of the lucky people to have birded Attu and the Pribilofs. After leading pelagic trips for himself and others he decided to make it official in 2002 by starting See Life Paulagics, a birding pelagic tour company. Paul’s enthusiasm for pelagic birding and sharing his knowledge of seabirds and sea life, continues to be witnessed by hundreds of participants year after year. Paul is known for his quick wit, and his sense of humor. Team captain of the most winningest World Series of Birding Team to date, Paul takes a week off of work each year to scout for the event and pour his heart and soul into the conservation fundraiser along with his dedicated and skilled teammates. Paul looks forward to the day that he can consult on the engineering of the best birding vehicle available – a hybrid or electric convertible because ear birding is one of his preferred methods of land birding.

In operation since 2002, See Life Paulagics allows Paul and Anita to share the wonder of seabirds and sea life with their tour participants.
