Nikon Spotting Scopes include the PROSTAFF line of waterproof spotters—in 82mm objective lens and 65mm objective lens models. Both feature multicoated optics, durable rubber-armored coatings, bayonet-style quick-change eyepiece capability and removable peep sights. Available with either straight body, or angled body configurations, these scopes offer features such as sliding sunshades, Vue-Thru cases, interchangeable eyepieces and the option of getting it in an ‘outfit’, with zoom eyepiece and tripod. Nikon also offers a spotting scope with a handy zoom lens—the Spotter XLII series. This 16-48-power zoom spotting scope features a slim roof prism design, 60mm objective lens and rubber armored-coating. Waterproof and fogproof, the Spotter XLII is available as a stand-alone and in an‘outfit’—complete with a compact tripod and a deluxe carry case.
